The Sorento Hybrid is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine paired to a hybrid system that makes 227 horsepower. The only other non-luxury three-row hybrid SUV is the much more expensive Ford Explorer Hybrid. You might also consider the slightly larger and more expensive three-row Toyota Highlander Hybrid or the two-row Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid and Toyota Venza SUVs. The Sorento Hybrid is unique because there aren't many three-row hybrid SUVs in the market.
